Guarded Buck: Northwest Mule Deer

The Mule Deer resides primarily in the Rocky Mountains, but their population is declining. It starts with the destruction of the natural habitat, — oh the domino effect of this with all our wild species. This destruction of habitat starts depriving them of food. Next, the issue of fire suppression and pesticides, which further depletes the food supply. The effects of illness and disease has depleted the deer population even more.
