Pet Portraits Starting at $250
Our family pets Bella and Asahi, we miss them so much. Asahi is done in Watercolor and Bella in Pencil from a photo that captured her perfectly.
Here is the finished custom pet portrait, all matted and framed for my client. When I started this drawing of the chihuahuas I wasn’t sure how much background (couches, etc.) I would tackle, Didn’t win anything at my San Fernando Valley Art Club Mini Show that we have every month in our meeting. But I am very happy with it and my client was happy to give this pencil pet portrait drawing as a gift. I received an email from the recipient who was so excited and happy. I just love making clients satisfied, I would love the hear your comments too!
This is Tess; I was contracted to draw this pet portrait of this beautiful dog for a gift. My client told me to this gift was for a good friend who just lost their dog. The size of this pet portrait is 12”x16”, done in graphite pencil, with a little charcoal. The finished drawing is double matted and framed. The portrait of Tess delighted my client.
This lovely Labrador is a commissioned pet portrait, size 12”x16. Hershey belongs to a friend of my clients, and at the time, the pup was very ill. My client thought a portrait of their dog would be a nice gift to help them through a tough time and Hershey recovered from his illness and is doing well now. I wish him many more years of health.
I delivered the finished drawing in grey and black double mat and black silk frame, the recipient was so pleased, and I received many thank you. I do love drawing people’s pets.
This beautiful cat belongs to my dear friends in Iowa. His name is Idget and is one of their many rescue kitties. His owner Sally is writing a children’s book about him and I am supplying the illustrations for it. I just love to capture those cat eyes.

Prices for pet portraits start at $250 for 8×10 pencil and charcoal portrait, watercolor prices start at $350. Mats and frames are an additional cost.
