The exhibit displays black and white artwork of various subjects and styles including traditional, contemporary, abstract, and surreal and conceptual art.
I love to draw and paint all kinds of horses, so drawing Zenyatta my favorite racehorse with her jockey Mike Smith riding this wonderful mare was very rewarding. The original is not for sale, but to purchase a copy of this painting please go to Bring on the Race Zenyatta in my gallery at Fine Art America
I am available for commissions to draw your horse and rider at this time. I know the plight of racehorses is not a positive one. Racehorses have been bred more for speed than for endurance, I am sorry to say and I hope this is changing. That is the reason we see accidents that have tragic endings on the track. There are many horse rescue agencies and they are all worthy, I chose The Second Race to donate 15% of my profit to because I personally now of the work they do at this racehorse rescue fundraiser. You can find out more about this racehorse fundraising group who find homes for these animals at The Second Race Fundraising Page on Facebook.
