The Wolf was the first animal I dedicated my wildlife art to bring attention to their challenge of survival in the wild. They have always been close to my heart, wolf art paintings, and wolf drawing are my first love and I could consumed myself with only drawing and painting wolves. However, I love all wildlife and consider myself a Wildlife Conservation Artist with much work to do.
When creating a habitat for this particular wildlife wolf painting the birch trees just seemed to be a natural habitat for them. Birch Trees have so much to offer an artist, the white bark with its patterns traveling up the white tree trunk with their delicate leaves dancing in the wind. So placing these two wolves looking out of the forest in the snow is my vision for a happy life for the wolf in the wild. When you purchase a print or original piece of my artwork, I will donate 15% of my profit to The Defenders of Wildlife to help stop the aerial shooting of wolves in Alaska and the Northern American states. My hope is the song of the wolf will always be heard on the wind.
